About Us
SVARGA — a Ukrainian brand of embroidered clothing that bridges the gap between ancient Ukrainian patterns and the modern world. The brand’s concept draws inspiration from the family heirlooms of Natalia Yarysh, the brand’s founder, who has cherished a love for all things Ukrainian for many years through the warm memories of her own childhood.

The SVARGA brand’s mission is to preserve and pass on cultural heritage. The company strives to ensure that every Ukrainian recognizes the richness and significance of their national heritage.
Through its products, SVARGA conveys important worldview and cultural values that have shaped the Ukrainian nation over many centuries. After all, the embroidered shirt is a sacred garment; it embodies not only beauty but also information about our origins. Therefore, SVARGA takes a stand against the distortion of Ukrainian embroidery traditions—specifically against stereotypes of inferiority and “sharovarshchyna”—as a means of erasing Ukrainian identity. The brand is happy to participate in and support social initiatives that uphold values close to its own in all spheres of Ukrainian culture.

Today, these ancient patterns travel with us; they accompany us every day on modern-cut shirts. SVARGA vyshyvankas are designed to remind us of the strength of the Ukrainian people, the deep roots of our nation, and the resilience of our ancestors.
The SVARGA team is constantly searching for new embroidery patterns from different parts of Ukraine. We collaborate with ethnologists, engage researchers of Ukrainian culture, and draw on specialized literature.
We hope that our work will resonate with many Ukrainians and remind everyone of their own family heritage!
Social Responsibility
The SVARGA brand has always had a clear mission, which it shares with the world through its products. One of our core priorities is philanthropy and supporting social initiatives. It’s important to us that when our customers wear a vyshyvanka, they not only look stylish but also know that their choice makes a difference to society.
A vyshyvanka from SVARGA is an opportunity to make the world a better place, because each of our products does good through various charitable initiatives. And this greatly inspires the SVARGA team to continue their work.
Since the start of the war, we have joined numerous charitable initiatives in support of the army, including:
– The nationwide charity project “Birds of Victory,” through which we managed to raise more than 2,500,000 ₴;
– The Ukrainian Foundation for Competent Assistance to the Army “Come Back Alive,” to which we regularly donate 20% of our sales NEPTUNE Men’s Embroidered shirts—Limited Edition;
– As part of our partnership with the “Boriviter” Military School and the “Alla Gorskaya and Viktor Zaretsky Foundation” charitable organization, we donate all proceeds from sales Men’s and women’s vyshyvankas from “Boriviter” for training Ukrainian military personnel at the “Boriviter” school;
– The “Zemlyachki” nonprofit organization: Together with this organization and the Gulliver shopping center, we organized the “Embroidered Ukraine” photo exhibition. Our art project provided an opportunity to support the women defending Ukraine. As a result, we raised 128,372₴, which was donated to purchase uniforms for female military personnel;
– Alarm Military Aid Headquarters: Through various charitable projects, we have managed to raise 176,547₴;
– Unbroken: in 2023 In honor of Independence Day The brand donated vyshyvankas to soldiers who are undergoing treatment and rehabilitation after severe injuries at the NEZLAMNI National Rehabilitation Center;
– “Ukrainian Armor”: In August 2023, together with this company, we presented a project for Ukraine’s Independence Day, featuring prominent female military personnel, medical professionals, and civic activists. They wore anatomically designed women’s body armor adorned with embroidery featuring traditional motifs from various regions of Ukraine, which SVARGA had compiled in its “Vyshyvana Ukraine” collection. Through this initiative, we wanted to draw attention to the shortage of specialized body armor for Ukrainian female service members;
– Charity fundraisers and auctions: We often participate in smaller, local auctions and fundraisers, through which we have raised more than 700,000₴;
Among SVARGA’s socially significant projects is an interesting collaboration with the Ivan Franko National Literary and Memorial Museum in Lviv (hereinafter referred to as the Franko House). Specifically, this involved recreating replicas of two exhibits for the Franko House exhibition: the vyshyvanka worn by I. Franko’s daughter, Hanza, and the apron worn by Olga Franko.
Both items were hand-embroidered by Olga Franko, and due to the war, For security reasons, They were no longer accessible to museum visitors. Thanks to our collaboration, these antique exhibits have reappeared in the exhibition hall of the Frank House, though now as replicas.
The SVARGA brand also has numerous ongoing partnerships with museums, which we maintain to promote visits to cultural institutions. After all, museum collections and exhibitions not only preserve our national heritage for future generations, but also give us a deeper understanding of the world and build a bridge between the experiences of different generations.
We are happy to participate in educational projects and take on student interns. The brand’s CEO, Natalia Yarysh, often leads tours for children, explaining how vyshyvankas are made and the specific characteristics of the patterns that originate from different regions of Ukraine.
The SVARGA brand is happy to launch its own social initiatives and support those of its partners that promote important cultural and universal human values!
