Attached to the waistband is a pocket featuring a rose motif, which symbolizes harmony, protection, and the birth of new life.
The pocket is attached to the apron with buttons and can be easily removed if necessary. As a traditional accessory, the pocket was most common in the Poltava region and had several names: “ladunka,” “gaman,” and “kyshenka.”
The hand-embroidered technique on the garment is reproduced using machine embroidery.
