The dress has pockets and a belt. It fastens with snaps (along the entire length) and buttons (at the neckline and cuffs).
Embroidered shirts from the Zakarpattia region are distinguished by their colorful, abundant embroidery. They are traditionally dominated by warm shades of red and blue. The pattern on this embroidered dress features the region’s oldest and most common motif: the rhombus, which symbolizes the earth, a sown field, and fertility.
The original design used to recreate the embroidery was taken from the Transcarpathian Regional Museum of Folk Architecture and Life.
The machine-embroidered dress features machine-embroidered designs that replicate traditional hand-cross-stitch techniques.
