This embroidered dress is part of SVARGA’s “Hutsulia” collection.
The garment is ivory in color and features a stand-up collar. The pattern on the dress originates from the Verkhovyna region and is inspired by a Hutsul gerdan. This is the first time the team has used the creative technique of incorporating jewelry motifs into the embroidery.
The dress comes with two removable belts that can be fastened through loops. The cuffs on the sleeves fasten with buttons.
The visual inspiration for the collection came from the photo archive of Paraska Plytka-Horytsvit, which allows you to experience the artist’s creative vision and get a glimpse into real life in the village of Kryvorivni.
This item features machine embroidery that replicates the “nyzynka” embroidery technique.
