Men’s linen shirt. Fastens with buttons—at the front and on the cuffs. The vyshyvanka’s design is based on an antique vyshyvanka from the early 20th century, originating from the Lemkivshchyna region. The chest area of the shirt features embroidered ribbon motifs decorated with symbols of eight-pointed stars, double crosses, and “ram’s horns.”
The historical pattern used for reproduction was provided by the Lviv Regional Council’s “Boykivshchyna” Historical and Ethnographic Museum. Hand-embroidery techniques are recreated using machine embroidery.
