Men’s short-sleeved vyshyvanka.
The bodice of the shirt is adorned with two bands of ornamentation consisting of stylized flowers incorporated into an ornamental composition, combined with a complementary curvilinear “ram’s horns” motif. A stylized ornamental stripe is located on the yoke.
The shirt’s pattern is based on a vyshyvanka from the early 20th century from the village of Troieshchyna in the Brovary District of the Kyiv Region. The artifact used as a model for the embroidery is housed in the collection of the National Museum of Architecture and Life in Ukraine.
