Embroidered shirt Dolyna The shirt’s pattern originates from the town of Dolyna in the Boikivshchyna region—this exhibit at the “Franko House” museum was donated by Justyna Hrynyshyn, a local resident of the village of Dolyna.
It fastens with hidden buttons along the entire front length of the garment and at the cuffs.
The pattern was created using machine embroidery that imitates the hand-embroidery technique known as “nyzynka.”
