The design for this region’s vyshyvanka is taken from the archive of Hanna Grabovska—a Distinguished Master of Folk Art of Ukraine and a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine, who is known far beyond the borders of Cherkasy Oblast.
All of the original and folk ornamental patterns in this archive were collected during ethnographic expeditions in the 1970s.
