The pattern on this shirt dates back to the 1920s–1930s and originates from the village of Steblivka in Transcarpathia. This type of vyshyvanka is called a “zaspulnytsia” because its sleeves are densely and richly embroidered. The pattern is predominantly composed of geometric elements. The shirt is part of the “Embroidered Ukraine” collection.
The embroidered shirt can also be worn with an accessory—style it by tying it around your waist or around your neck.
The shirt features machine embroidery that replicates traditional hand-embroidery techniques.
Matching outfit— Men’s shirt from Zakarpattia.
