Women’s vyshyvanka with a collar.
The pattern was recreated from a shirt found during an expedition in the Kyiv region, in the village of Troieshchyna, Brovary District. The original was created in the early 20th century.
The shirt’s pattern consists of geometric and floral designs. Hand-embroidery techniques are recreated using machine embroidery.
The antique vyshyvanka from which this design was recreated is housed in the collection of the National Museum of Architecture and Life in Ukraine.
