Women’s Embroidered shirt from the collection “Chest”.
The pattern is reproduced from an antique shirt from the Korosten District in the Zhytomyr region. The original was created in the 1920s–1930s.
The embroidery pattern is typical of the Polissya region. It features predominantly red combined with black. The collar features a five-petaled rose as a symbol of happiness, while the cuffs feature an eight-petaled rose as a symbol of infinity. On the back, the shirt features ribbon motifs that we adapted from the hem of the original shirt.
The hand-embroidered pattern has been recreated using machine embroidery.
