Women’s vyshyvanka from the collection “Skrynia” . The shirt’s pattern originates from the Novoushytskyi District in the Khmelnytskyi region (Podillia). The embroidery technique is cross-stitch. The original pattern was created using black and, in some places, burgundy threads. On the recreated shirt, the traditional pattern is arranged in ribbon-like compositions.
The traditional cross-stitch technique has been recreated using machine embroidery.
