Women’s vyshyvanka from the collection “Сkrynya”.
The shirt’s pattern is based on a vyshyvanka that the grandmother of SVARGA’s founder wove on a home loom and embroidered by hand. The design originates from a Ukrainian village in Polissya.
This vyshyvanka is the centerpiece of the “Skrynia” collection, as it is a family heirloom of Natalia Yarysh and was long kept as a dowry in an authentic, antique chest. The pattern on this collectible shirt is created using machine embroidery that mimics weaving techniques.
Among the photos, we’ve included an exhibit from the SVARGA Museum, which served as the inspiration for the “Spadok” shirt.
