The front panel of the vest is decorated with strips of ornamentation featuring antique Yavoriv embroidery, which stands out for its uniqueness among other Galician vyshyvankas. At the end of the 19th century, it was known as the “glorious Yavorivka.” The Yavoriv ornament is easily recognizable by its bright and distinctive flowers, which contrast with traditional geometric motifs.
The hand-embroidered technique on the garment is reproduced using machine embroidery.
