Embroidered linen apron.
The product belongs to for the “Horodok Stitch” collection, in which SVARGA’s designers combined various techniques of the ancient Horodok stitch. To recreate these antique patterns, the Gorodok Museum of History and Local Lore provided its exhibits. Among them are vyshyvankas, scarves, bedspreads, and napkins, which date back to the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
One-size-fits-all: 52 x 90 cm, waist length 200 cm
In the photo, the apron is paired with a women’s Embroidered shirt with the Gorodok stitch.
Hand-embroidery techniques such as “months,” “ladder,” “snake,” “cobra,” “under the cord,” “half-moons,” “clusters,” and “looped serrations” are reproduced using machine embroidery.
