Men’s short-sleeved vyshyvanka.
The shirt’s pattern is based on a vyshyvanka from the early 20th century from the village of Kalita in the Brovary District of the Kyiv Region. The vyshyvanka’s pattern consists of a grid of mosaic rhombuses in the center, featuring flowers and geometric rows of blossoms.
The artifact from which the embroidery was reproduced is housed in the collection of the National Museum of Architecture and Life in Ukraine.
