The design for this pattern is taken from an original vyshyvanka belonging to Ivan Frankoโs daughter-in-law, Olga Franko-Bilevych (wife of his son Petro).
It fastens with buttons down the front and on the sleeves.
The pattern is created using machine embroidery that imitates the traditional โshtapivkaโ hand-embroidery technique.
