The book “Ukrainian Folk Patterns,” compiled by Olga Kosach-Kryvinyuk

The book was written by a team of professional co-authors. Article authors: Oksana Konstantynivska and Maryna Oliinyk; pattern designer: Olena Yasinska; photographer: Kateryna Rudyuk; project director: Tetiana Zez. The third, expanded edition of Olga Kosach-Kryvinyuk’s collection of embroidery patterns, *Ukrainian Folk Patterns*, was published 95 years after its first release at the Lavra; and its purpose is to present unique, authentic embroidery patterns through a contemporary lens for the first time, accompanied by technical and methodological guidance in the form of modern patterns. We express our sincere gratitude to the staff of the Museum of Outstanding Figures of Ukrainian Culture and the Lesya Ukrainka Literary and Memorial Museum in Kolodyazhene for their cooperation in preparing this publication. Olga Kosach-Kryvynuk’s delicate and exquisite embroidery patterns were carefully collected by her to preserve and develop the Ukrainian tradition of embroidery art. The materials presented here reveal facts from the life of Olga Petrivna Kosach-Kryvynuk that are little known to the general public.
