Women’s vyshyvanka from the collection Embroidered Ukraine
We created this vyshyvanka based on a 20th-century pattern from the Pokuttia region, taken from a book by Lydia Bebeshko. Embroidery from this region is characterized by a traditional combination of several embroidery techniques and lavishly decorated sleeves.
The shirt is decorated with two pairs of tassels. The cuffs fasten with buttons.

The pattern is created using machine embroidery that mimics hand-embroidery techniques.
