Men’s vyshyvanka from the collection Embroidered Ukraine.
We created this vyshyvanka based on a 20th-century pattern from the Pokuttia region, taken from a book by Lydia Bebeshko. Embroidery from this region is characterized by a traditional combination of several embroidery techniques and lavishly decorated sleeves.
The shirt cuffs fasten with buttons. The pattern is created using machine embroidery that mimics hand-embroidery techniques.
