The vyshyvanka’s design features a stylized embroidery motif from the personal shirt of the poet Hrytsko Chubay, along with lines from a song by his daughter Solomiya Chubay, “Autumn Sky, Blue Parachute,” set to her father’s lyrics.
The project is dedicated to the creative legacy of Hrytsko Chubay and his fight for freedom of speech. The idea came from the poet’s daughter, Solomiya Chubay. Her son, Oleksa, has also joined the advertising campaign. He is actively working to draw public attention to people with autism through his personal story.
A portion of the proceeds from sales is donated to support Solomiya Chubay’s “Lullabies for Oleksa” project through the Foundation SoloArt, which helps families with ASD.
