Embroidered shirt for a boy from the “Svitanok” family collection.
The pattern is reproduced from a shirt from the village of Troyeshchyna in the Brovary District of the Kyiv Region. Date of the shirt’s creation: 20th century.
The chest of the vyshyvanka features stylized embroidered branches of flowering trees combined with geometric patterns. The cuffs are decorated with geometric ornamentation.
The pattern for recreating the embroidery was provided by the National Museum of Architecture and Life in Ukraine.
