Justyna Embroidered shirt The shirt’s pattern originates from the town of Dolyna in the Boikivshchyna region—this exhibit at the “Franko House” museum was donated by Justyna Hrynyshyn, a local resident of the village of Dolyna.
The embroidery patterns are adorned with geometric shapes, serrations, projections, triangles, and broken lines, which are known as “karakuli” in this ethnocultural region.
The blouse has a closed oval neckline. The cuffs fasten with ґbuttons.
The pattern is created using machine embroidery that mimics hand-embroidery techniques.
